Wayne and all, The RV1 is one of the success stories from the congestion charge enhancements. It appears to go nowhere special but is often very, very busy. I have not seen it in the rush hours but others have said it gets packed out with commuters from Fenchurch Street, Waterloo and London Bridge. I've certainly struggled to get on it at Borough Market at weekends. I think the "every 10 minutes, all the time" timetable also helps because people know a bus will always be along shortly regardless of the day of the week. There is also almost always a bus on stand at Covent Garden and a regular flow of people wanting the bus. It is due to get the Wright Hydrogen Buses when they're eventually ready later on this year. It's a shame bendies are going because it could justify the extra capacity although there are a couple of tight spots along the route that might make their use a tad difficult.
