Chris I'm off to IOM this Thursday for 5 days with train and boat (via Liverpool). I'm really looking forward to it as I have never been there before. It seems there tis a lot of unusual ransport on the island is spectacular.
Groudle Glen Railway, Horse-Drawn Trams, Laxey Mines Railway, Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway, Steam Railway Buses and also the IOM Transport Museum That should keep me busy. Richard Dodge who lives on the island has been very helpful and we have exchanged mobile numbers and I would expect we meet up for a beer or two during my visit. The weather forcast is wet with a few days sunny. I don't care. It should be good.
