You see, this is another area where I get obsessive. I've got a
long-standing ambition (nearly complete) to own a full collection of Terry
Pratchett paperbacks, and I also get a strange purchase-oriented itching in
my fingers every time I see an O'Reilly title. Even the ones on subjects I
am unlikely to ever need to know about.

And taking off on a tangent from the subject of O'Reilly, I have a perl
script I knocked up ages ago to automatically strip the most recent User
Friendly cartoons from the archive, and save the .gif to my HDD, which
allows me to instantly tell you that to date, there have been 1,073 UF
cartoons, totalling 41.9MB of .gifs :)
