Yet Another Non-Veggie But Good place is St. John in Smithfield, where
you can eat bone marrow, offal, game with strange names (had grouse
last time I went) etc. It's very nice indeed ;=)
I had a birthday there once with a roast suckling pig (as birthday boy
I got to carve it of course!) and, um, invited a vegie friend of mine
who wasn't too impressed...
