A friend and I did http://www.cityoffice.co.uk/ (bit of a bodge,
horrible design). The worst part was
a) Getting the existing stock list (50,000 products, stored in a non
intuitive manner) up to the database
b) Providing a system to let the owner perform maintenance. There's a
'Supervisor' wbe mode but also an offline VB app.
Your systems sounds nearly exactly the same and would have made thinsg
sooo mcuh easier.
