wow .. they sent me a nice(ish) cd case carrier thing .. with O'Reilly on
it. last week I ordered best part of 150 quids worth .. looked em up an
Amazon and ordered em from my local bookshop ;) .. almost the same price
within a couple of quid.
I have no idea whether the 'boycott' is running anymore .. but what they
did irked me mightly and it will be a good while before i use them again.
On the perl side Amazon use a massive amount of Perl in their systems
apparently. Not so much on the web side but extensively in the back
office systems that manage the importing of inventories etc.
