Couple of adminy type things.
1/ I've put a list of the forthcoming meetings on the web page
at <http://london.pm.org/WhatDo.shtml>. If you hae any corrections[1]
then please let me know.
2/ A number of people have mentioned that it was nice to have
a room to ourselves in the pub after the last tecnhical meeting.
I agree with this and on top of the fact that the PO is often
too busy (and, yes Piers, it's a crap pub too) I'd like to do
something about it.
The pub next to Emap was fince, but I'd like to find somewhere
that a) is a bit closer to a tube station and b) has a bar in
the function room. If anyone can suggest pubs like that in central
London, then we can draw up a shortlist and a sub-committee can
wander off and try them all out (any volunteers?)
Suggestions that I already have are:
The pub next to Emap (was that the City Pride?)
Cellar Bar at Ye Cittie of Yorke, High Holborn
Upstairs room in the Princess Louise, Holborn
Function room in the Lamb, Lamb's Conduit St
Function Room in the Old Crown, New Oxford St
Any other suggestions?
