I'm having trouble with NFS.
Specifically ...
[root@farmer-giles init.d]# insmod nfs
Using /lib/modules/2.2.17/fs/nfs.o
[root@farmer-giles init.d]# ./portmap start
Starting portmapper: [ OK ]
[root@farmer-giles init.d]# ./nfslock start
Starting NFS file locking services:
Starting NFS lockd: [ OK ]
Starting NFS statd: [ OK ]
[root@farmer-giles init.d]# ./nfs start
Starting NFS services: [ OK ]
Starting NFS quotas: [ OK ]
Starting NFS mountd: [ OK ]
Starting NFS daemon: [FAILED]
[start the NFS daemon manually so I can get the error message]
[root@farmer-giles init.d]# rpc.nfsd 8
nfssvc: Function not implemented
Which isn't terribly helpful! And, needless to say, it don't serve NFS
volumes. I have verified that both my client and my server can mount
NFS volumes exported from other machines - eg from sunsite.org.uk.
Any idea what needs fixing?

This is nice. Any idea what body-part it is?
