Both excellent films, although TH&HN is shorter and lighter. :-)

I have trouble with this as a "best of all time", but it is certainly
fascinating, and (over here at least) the extras alone are probably
worth the price of the dvd.

I have not seen Le Samourai, but Woo's The Killer is based on it and I
happen to think it's a better film than Hard Boiled (not that HB isn't
good, mind you).
