Interesting.

Simon, Paul, Celia and I just watched Bio-dome (a Pauly Shore movie no
less)

This is one of Simon and my all time favorite films[0].

I have the sneaking suspicion that the other members of the audience
thought that his film was terrible. Having recently re-watched this film
I can see their point. It's crass. It's stupid. And the plot is so
dumb it defies words. However...despite all logic I still really like
this film. Can anyone explain why[1]?

Didn't I mention this a while back on my "bad but good films" list? If I
didn't I should have.

Later.

Mark.

[0] Note that this is vastly different between what we think of as one of
the *best* films.

[1] Apart from the fact that it's got a midget[2] and Kylie in it, and
that bad guy from Real Genius...imdb...William Atherton (who is *the*
worst and best bad guy ever depending on your point of view)

[2] See comments elsewhere about there has never been a bad film with a
midget in it[3]

[3] There is no logic in this either. It just seems to be true.
Correlation does not imply causation and all that.
