At the tenth event on Weds May 5th 2002 entitled "Esperanto!" we focus on "The International Language of Peace" designed to be everyone's "second tounge". So Wednesday 5 June is our Esperanto evening, when we'll be joined by members of the London Esperanto Society. The Page family will demonstrate the language in action, while hopefully teaching us enough to get us started. David Thornell, President of the London Esperanto Society provides a brief history of the movement. Screening: Incubus We'll round the evening off with a rare screening of Incubus (1965), the only known film entirely in Esperanto. It's a gripping horror thriller starring William Shatner.
