Much as I hate to say it, (I've used several clients on windows including
putty and tera term pro). I really really like the official SSH client from
SSH communications corp (especially since it comes with a free non
commercial license). It seems to have all the features of most other
clients, plus a lot of extras (like socks proxy ability, which I need
because I'm behind quite a scary firewall here at work).

But if I had to choose between Tera Term Pro and Putty, I prefer Tera Term,
just a personal thing (I get the feeling it's a bit like the vi/emacs
debate).
