If coming down towards the base of the M11 filter to the right to go onto the westbound North Circular (A406).
Immediately go two lanes to the left as you are taking the first exit.
You need to stay in the left hand lane for pretty much the whole journey to Leytonstone (follow the signs).
(Left off the roundabout, left hand lane at traffic lights, cross cattle grid, drive through forest.
When you hit a largish roundabout near Walthamstow you also turn left and pass by signs for the Whips Cross Hospital.
This is Whips Cross Road. You ought to turn right here down James Lane (It is the only road you can turn down here as the others are blocked off).
Turning left down Clare road, and left down Andrew road will bring you to Poppleton Road.
There are no yellow lines or parking restrictions.

By Tube

Leytonstone is on the Central line. It is on the border between zone 3 and 4 (so if you have a zone 1 to 4 one day travel card that is ok).
When you leave the ticket hall you go up a tunnel to reach street level. Turn RIGHT up the tunnel to go towards "Upper Leytonstone". (If you turn left instead you reach an off-license and the high street).
Cross the bus station and turn right down Gainsborough Road.
The road turns right to cross the big road, but you don't... you go straight ahead onto Fillebrook road, and if you are keen eyed you may spot the sign saying "Upper Leytonstone. Leading to .... Poppleton Road..."
(At the end of this road is a pedestrian bridge over the big road which goes to Tesco's if you need it) Fillebrook road turns left into Coleworth Road or you can go right into Poppleton Road which curves round to lie parallel to Coleworth road. Number 88 is near the other end of the road.
