I can't find anything on the CPAN but I can't believe this module doesn't exist :
I have a path, say "dira/dirb/../dirc/file" and I want to collapse it to a canonical path "dira/dirc/file". I also need to deal with "dira/dirb/../../dird/file" collapsing back to "dird/file". Anyone point me in the direction of a pre-existing wheel to deal with this ? The application is a website auditor that can walk from the root of a site and extract all the links from all the pages and tell me which files I need and which sit outside the navigable structure and might be redundant. Maybe there's a tool to that alreay and I can save an even bigger wheel re-invention :) Simon. -- "My name ? My name is Slartibartfast."
