Evangelism in non-perl-specific outlets. RoR and PHP were newcomers once, they had to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Perl had a first-mover advantage which never seemed to be capitalised on much like Yahoo!. To be honest, I don't know what those outlets would be though, other than general web development mailing lists. - Mark
