The imperialist American financial crisis is actually the crises of
capitalism. The characteristics of this crisis are similar to the 1929 big
crises. This was actually intensified due to the delay in fully capturing the
economy of the third world. Latin America, Iraq, Afghanistan and other
important oil
producing countries and economies are strongly confronting and struggling
against the imperialist control. If this resistance continued further, it will
demolish the American imperialist center, and will strengthen the revolutions.
Only in one week 160 thousand people lost their jobs in America, the 700
billion dollars package will not rescue the American economy from crises and
hence the housing related industry will be affected more.

By the globalization of the capital, the crises in Europe and the other
capitalist centers will be
intensified. After reducing the subsidies and increased unemployment, would
support the revolutionary forces. If, in the underdeveloped countries, the
workers of the MNCs start agitation and strikes, then it would help in
defeating
the capitalist system.

These words were stated by the members of the Central Committee,
Communist Party of Pakistan, Comrade Imdad Qazi, and Comrade Mansoor Saeed in
Hyderabad, while
discussing the global and country political situation.

Pakistan is also facing the severe
political, social and economic crisis. The current rulers, who got heavy
mandate
from the people, are now unable to face the crises due to lack of capacities.
The working class is unhappy with the current inflation, price hike and
unemployment. The middle class is now running with empty pockets towards the
working class. The country is divided into three camps politically; one is the
so-called Jihadis and Taliban, who are fighting for religious fascism. The
second camp is working to safeguard the American stakes. They jointly with
America are using the state power
against the first camp. The third camp is against the first two camps and
struggling for the people’s secular, democratic mix economy. This camp probably
is weak and it is needed to strengthen this camp further. Communist Party of
Pakistan is representing this camp. The CPP and its natural allies, the
leftwing
forces, should unite as soon as possible, mobilize and activate the people on
the minimum programme. The intellectuals and common people are keenly feeling
the need of an alternate force. If we did not provide the alternate solutions
to
the problems, Pakistan will
go on the same way like Afghanistan’s and Yugoslavia’s
civil war.

These leaders of the CPP told the cadre that Socialism is the only
solution to face these circumstances and the bringing the socialism programme
to
the people is the need of the day.
