For what its worth we forked the project and started adding a number of new features (groups, localization, etc) that the groups we work with required. I think the focus of the project is a bit different but feel free to pull back whatever looks interesting. The project is listed under 'luvfoo' on github.com (http://github.com/jbasdf/luvfoo/ tree/master).
