1.....WSIS
It has been a very busy and exciting month as the LPI team prepare to attend the WSIS conference in Geneva Switzerland next week.
We will have over 20 LPI representatives from Bulgaria, Canada, China, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, Jamaica Pakistan, USA, Australia.
At the conference, LPI hopes to encourage the use of open source around the world by offering presentations, exam labs, and round table discussions about FOSS.
We hope to let many of the attendees and government representatives know about open source by giving them down to earth ideas about how it can be of benefit - what the cost savings might be and how to get started. The goal at WSIS is to provide an on-site general purpose Open Source and Linux resource center to address the information needs.

The website is translated by volunteers around the world into 13 different languages using this program.
The program will be GPL'd for use by others.
Please have a look at the website for more details on the translation process and other projects that LPI is working on.
