Linux Professional Institute Offers Certification Exams at IBM Software
University

(Toronto, Canada: January 17, 2006) The Linux Professional Institute
(LPI), (http://www.lpi.org), the world's premier Linux certification
organization, is hosting a special exam lab for IBM staff attending
IBM's Software University in Las Vegas on January 19, 2006.

LPI will be offering both LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams (101, 102, 201 and
202) at a discounted price of $90 per exam from 1 - 6 p.m. on Thursday,
January 19, 2006 (Note: #3072 in session catalogue). Candidates should
pre-register on the LPI website at https://www.lpi.org/en/register.html
to receive a LPI identification number and must bring valid photo
identification and their LPI ID number to the exam event.

Software University, sponsored by IBM’s Software Group, is an annual
sales, technical and marketing education conference for IBM staff.
Software University is the largest gathering of software executives and
salespeople within IBM with approximately 18,000 people from around the
world attending every year. The event offers over 2,000 individual
sessions where thousand of sales and marketing staff can interact and
learn from the developers of IBM's software products.
