LPI Appoints Area Operations Manager for North America and Asia Pacific (Toronto, Canada: March 29, 2006) - The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), (http://www.lpi.org), the world's premier Linux certification organization announced the appointment of Larry McArthur as Area Operations Manager for North America and Asia Pacific. Mr. McArthur has had an extensive career of broad executive-level experience at several global companies and has been very active in business activities in North America, China and Asia for over 30 years.

Mr. MacArthur is the CEO of Sino-American Business Solutions which provides a full range of professional business advisory services to enable trade and business between China and America. Prior to that he was the CEO of Saronyx Inc., a BioPharma IT company. His executive experience in Asia includes his position as Chairman of Greater China operations for SGI in Beijing, China where he reorganized SGI's operations across Greater China and ran strategic initiatives for all of the Asia Pacific for the company.
