LPI's 10th Anniversary at LinuxTag Berlin (June 24-27, 2009)

(Sacramento, CA, USA: May 28, 2009) The Linux Professional Institute
(LPI), the world's premier Linux certification organization
(http://wwwlpi.org),  announced a program of events and activities at
LinuxTag, Berlin, Germany (June 24-27, 2009) in celebration of the
organization's 10th anniversary. Events during the conference have been
organized by LPI affiliate, LPI-Central Europe (http://www.lpice.eu) and
feature an information booth, seminars, forums, training partner and
affiliate meetings, the ever popular and traditional exam labs, and
finally social events.  LPI is the LinuxTag Official Certification
Partner for the conference and exposition

also an equally important event in the history of Linux and Open Source
professionalism.  Ten years ago the founders of LPI set out on a course

Source Software.  Without a doubt LPI has established a universal and
accepted standard in vendor-neutral Linux certification for IT

LPI activities for LinuxTag Berlin include the following:

- EXAM LABS:

LPI's exam labs will be offered on the following days:
* Wednesday, June 24: 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 hrs.
* Thursday, June 25: 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 hrs.
* Saturday, June 27: 10.00 and 13.00 hrs.

All exam labs will be held at  Room # 04.01-054, Hall 4.1 LinuxTag,
Messe Berlin, Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin, Germany. Further information

Exams available include: LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 (101, 102, 201, 202) - in
German and English; LPIC-3 (301, 302, 303) - in English; and Univention
Certified Professional (LPI 198) - in German.

PLEASE NOTE: the exam candidate with the highest exam score
participating in the exam labs will win an Eee PC 1000HA (Linux loaded!)

- LPI BOOTH:

The LPI booth is in hall 7.2b (Booth # 123) of the Messe Berlin,
Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin.   Staff of LPI-Central Europe and LPI e.V.
will be availble for general inquiries from interested exam candidates
and business partners. LPI-Approved Training Partner (LPI-ATP)
"Linuxhotel" and LPI-Certified Solution Providers (LPI-CSP) "Inovex" and
"B1 Systems" will be co-exhibitors at the LPI booth and their staff
members will present new projects and solutions.

Everyone is welcome to attend the "Come Together" event at the LPI booth
on Thursday, June 25th at 18:00 hrs. for discussions, refreshment and
social activities to celebrate LPI's 10th birthday!
