Task 3 - "Install Spam Assassin" - Well, that's just a matter of typing "perl -MCPAN -e 'install Mail::SpamAssassin'", from memory. Should we add " . . .and configure . . " ? And if so, what configuration? Stand-alone host? A corporate mail gateway? With Bayesian or without?
The remaining tasks here all revolve around Sendmail; this is bound to provoke a strong response from those who say that the prudent and security-aware administrator runs Postfix, Qmail etc. anyway and has no reason or desire to know anything about Sendmail. Can someone perhaps post some tasks for those MTA's, or can we rephrase these tasks in an independent fashion?
