Hi everyone,

I've just made some enhancements to the item contribution tool which I
hope that you all like. Also, an opportunity to bribe the folks on this
mailing list came up to a) get you to test it out and b) help LPI
diversify its item pool.

Maddog at Koolu (http://www.koolu.com), whom I'm sure many people here know
(or know of), has donated 2 OpenMoko Neo Freerunner phones to LPI to give
away.

So, I'm officially starting the LPI Question a Day contest and I am only
announcing it on the lpi-examdev mailing list.

Contest Guidelines

In order to enter the contest, just go to:

    https://www.lpi.org/caf/Xamdev/item_contrib

and submit an item a day for the next 10 days. Yes, you can do them all at
once, but where is the fun in that. You will need your LPI ID, username or
registered e-mail address plus your password to enter the site.

Before contributing an item, please read the item contribution guide at:

https://group.lpi.org/publicwiki/pub/Examdev/ItemWritingInABox/Participant_Item_Writing_Guide.pdf

The important content in this document starts at page 12.

Contest Closing

On October 20th, I will randomly choose two people to win the Freerunners
and will ship them out immediately. I'll announce the winners on this
list, unless you request privacy (I'll contact the winners privately first).

For those of you who do not win a phone, you can still get a free phone
by participating in Koolu's Google Apps Referral Program
(http://koolu.com/Content/Referral-Program.html).

PS - Maddog asked me to add that last part ;)

Regards,
