History split us apart from the French a bit over 300 years ago; since
then, we have not had much in common with them, except for some warm and
fuzzy around La Francophonie and some (surprinsigly little) cultural
exchange.  I think you should use "Québecois" when you mean "Québécois";
"French" do not quite describe us correctly anymore.

But we *are* going to refurbish Gentilly, our own and only nuclear
plant.  Not sure if that qualify us as mastering civilian nuclear power
generation technology, tough.
