Hi LPI team

I'm Jorge Armando Medina, I work for Compugraf a FOSS Company at Mexico City,
Compugraf is an Aproved Training Partner, we have been training IT
proffesionals for a few years, we are a company compromised with the Open
Source and GNU/Linux filosofy and community.

In the last years I have been giving LPI 101, 102, 201 and 202 courses, and
in the last courses this same people have been commenting about the old
objectives in the courses, things like bind4, hardware ISA, majordomo, that
are not used in this days, they would like to take a course with current
objetives and not things that are not used since 5 years ago.

Compugraf wants to collaborate with the LPI Project reviewing the Objectives
for the next edition of the LPI 101 and 102 exams, I am already suscribed to
the wiki groups.lpi.blablabla and I have seen a lot of progress, one thing
we would like to collaborate at first instance is in the translation into
Spanish of this objectives, update the LPI Program information in the lpi.org
web site, translate the 201 and 202 exams in to Spanish. The more we
collaborate will be reflected in the LPI promotion in Latinoamecia and
worldwide.

In the last days I suscribed to some LPI mailing lists and dig into the
archives to catch up, I see that most of the efforts are concentrated in the
LPI security objectives but I couldn't see any progress with the other
objectives (101, 102), I see a lot of confusion with the information about
translation of the web site, there are some procedures to translate the web
site but it looks that they are related to the earlier CMS and not for
ezpublish, as I said before I would like to colaborate translating the
iformation in the web site into spanish, so I hope someone can
give me a hint where to start or with whom contact.

I hope we can work together and make LPI a better organization and offer a
better and current certifications in the Linux world.

By the way I already answered the JTA.

Best regards.
