Hello Everyone,

As we are rewriting the LPIC-2 materials I wonder: "What should LPIC-2 candidates know about SSH, that LPIC-1 candidates do not?"

We just moved the SSH chapter from the LPIC-2 books to LPIC-1 to cover the april objectives. However I still do see topic 212.3 in the LPIC-2 objectives. Actually I get the impression that LPIC-2 requires less knowledge than LPIC-1 on ssh. (gpg for example...) See topic LPIC-1 -> 110.3 v.s. LPIC-2 -> 212.3

So my question:

   What do LPIC-2 candidates need to know about SSH on top of LPIC-1?

Should this topic not be dropped in favour of more general PKI knowledge:

   * Symmetric keys v.s. Asymmetric keys.
   * Certificates.
   * Certificate Authorities.
   * Trust chains.
   * encryption with the Public key.
   * Message signing
   * openssl
   * open CA
   * SSL/TLS session opening sequence.

Kind regards,
