Hi everyone,

I was thinking of putting together a tongue-in-cheek talk for an upcoming
conference which is loosely titled:

10 Things Every Admin Should Know (Not To Do)

I was thinking it would cover topics like telnet.

The first point would be about the most common use of telnet, and what many
people think of as a convenience, is really a way to access remote machines
in about as insecure a manner as possible.

Then, after the berating, point out the useful side of telnet (testing mail,
web, pop servers, etc) and the alternatives to telnet for that common use.

Anyway, does this sort of topic sound like something people would want to
hear?

Anyone have pet peeves that they'd like to suggest?

Regards,
