Hi Dipesh,

No, this isn't the case.  It wouldn't be fair to expect newly minted
LPIC-2 holders to recertify.

The new programme structure is taking into account that the bulk of
the 301 exams materials isn't germaine to the 303/304 topics.  That's
why the removal of it from those certification paths and the
grandfathering of people with 303/304 but no 301.  If anyone still
wants LPI-302, they'll still need the 301 exam, though.

I view it as similar to the big shuffle of topics from the LPIC-2 to
LPIC-1 (and vice versa) 6-ish years ago.  We didn't have LPIC-1
holders recertify at that level before continuing on to LPIC-2,
either.  I think that's a respectful position, too.  As professionals,
we should be expected to fill in gaps and improve our skills.

Of course, take this with a grain of salt...can of worms reopened...
