Seconded.

We always have to watch the Debian'isms as much as SuSE'isms or Red Hat'isms.

Multi-arch is another area where things differ, and FHS/LSB and, when
not addressed by it, the Upstream project should be the default.
Although a secondary should be considered if popular enough, we must
ensure we don't miss the primary of FHS/LSB and/or Upstream project.
