Hi Dilip , LPI consists of 2 levels (1 and 2).Each level has got 2 exams . Each exam costs $100 (so for each level $200).
You can register yourself at www.vue.com (there online registration is smooth . i used a credit card) As far as books are concerned none are available in India . I can give you some notes and PDFs that i had collected over a period of time .
