Oi,
Fiquei intrigado com a questão pq achava que a "B"
estava certa mesmo, mas a "D" tb parece ok, aí fui testar. O resultado que
vi é que:
* com o comando da "D", se o diretório test já
existir onde será copiado, ele copia como subdiretório ( /root/test/test
) ; se não existir copia criando um novo diretório test ( /root/test
);
* com o comando da "B", cria o diretório sempre em
/root (neste exemplo) e, se já houver e os arquivos abaixo do diretório forem
repetidos, pergunta se deve sobrescrever os arquivos.
Veja só:

ls test/
a
[EMAIL PROTECTED] tmp]# cp -r ./test/ ~
[EMAIL PROTECTED] tmp]# ls
