hmmm,

didn't find that one, tried 3.7.1 and 3.7.1beta2 but all I got was:

         -DLOCKFILE=\"/var/run/lpd\" -DCLEAR=\"/usr/bin/clear\"
        -DUSERID=\"daemon\" -DGROUPID=\"daemon\" -I.. -I./include -c
        ./common/getqueue.c -o getqueue.o
        ./common/getqueue.c: In function `Set_hold_file':
./common/getqueue.c:785: `GDBM_SYNC' undeclared (first use this
function)
./common/getqueue.c:785: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only
once
./common/getqueue.c:785: for each function it appears in.)
        gmake[1]: *** [getqueue.o] Error 1
        gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/LPRng-3.7.1/src'
        gmake: *** [src] Error 2

Apart from the lpstat problem the 3.6.26 release theems to work fine for
me, perhaps it is possible to patch this version ???

regards Christoph
