I have a problem with 3.6.26 under Suse 7.1 I have a 2 stage queueing mechanism, where in the first stage large spoolfiles are filtered and the single printfiles are forwarded to the second queue on the same machine, and printed. It comes to a statistical error, under high load (couple of hundred jobs in the second queue, 3 or four large spoolfiles in the first queue) somehow different jobs out of the spoolfile get lost, each time different ones. The machine runs under Kernel 2.18, it a high power RAID 5 System. Any experiences with that? I allway thought that there might happen a lot of things, but never anything get lost??? ---------------------------------------------- kind regards Dietmar G.
