My HP 5Si printer will not take PS files with binary data in it
unless the PS file is TBCP encoded.
I am running under Solaris 2.8, with ifhp and LPRng as indicated
in the subject line.
Here is the printcap entry:

In ifhp.conf, I turned on the tbcp option. On a side note, can the tbcp
option be made printer specific, instead of global?
The files will not print. I suspect I did something wrong in the printcap
entry, because I can lpr from the machine LPRng is installed on to other
printers, but for the printer in question, I get this when running lpq:

Finally, I don't believe the TBCP filter is working as it should. The PS
file still has communication bytes that are not escaped according to the
specification.
