I have LPRng installed and working properly (for the most part). However, I can't get lpinfo to delete print jobs from my test queue. Everything works fine from the local command line.
I figured this was a problem with /etc/lpd.perms, but I no matter how permissive I try to be, I still get the same errors, e.g.: ========================================= adminmode is We got 192.168.1.234 as the REMOTE ADDR We got 192.168.1.234 as the browserhost printer is hp5000 and jobnumber is 54 and browserhost is 192.168.1.234 and printserver is unix and queue_is_nt is end executing /usr/bin/lpq -Php5000 54 rank is 1 owner is apache@cornelius+54 class is A job is 54 misc is /tmp/lp-testpage-1104 jobhost is cornelius FAILED: Print job 54 on hp5000 came from cornelius, not your machine 192.168.1.234 ========================================== I explicitly allowed REMOTEIP=192.168.1.234 via this line is lpd.perms: ACCEPT SERVICE=M REMOTEIP=192.168.1.234 But this does no good. How can I tell LPRng that it's OK to allow the lprm execution? Any pointers, etc. would be highly appreciated.
