Any solution or workaround then? what does turning status@ off do? didn't seem to fix the problem for me, nor updating ifhp. how does :send_job_rw_timeout=6000 work? Cancels the print if it goes beyond that time? or figures the job is done, so it stops? I'll turn that on & see...but makes me nervous if someone's printjob is big and gets shutoff prematurely. Still naive in all the options... very nice compared to standard lpd! Boss loves the accounting... now I just need to write a script to strip through and total per user/per printer (nothing exists like this does there?)
