Occasionally during and just after a job is printed on a queue, lpq for
that queue will hang for up to 10 seconds.

The connection to the printer is port 9100, not lpr protocol. There is no
network traffic between the server and the printer which is related to the
lpq command.

This is quite annoying. Any ideas?
