Once again I would appreciate if anybody could reply with information regarding the problem or how to use debugging to provide more relevant information. The following relates to my email sent on 13 Nov. Switching on debugging provides additional information which shows errors originating from the Set_str_value function call and send_job.c (status -2 ??). Something which may be relevant is that the printjob seems to start after it has been passed through the filter, the subsequent sending of the data file (which is failing) does not seem to directly result in the printout as the logging event associated with sending the data file happens after the print out has finished.
