Hello,
I am trying to set a print queue that will only accept jobs from certain hosts.
For some reason, the print server ignores my :ho=line...
test:
:ho=hostname.sub.domain.edu
:lp=LDCLJ3.LDC.UPENN.EDU%9100
:tc=.commonhp
.commonhp:
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/%P
:of=/usr/libexec/filters/ifhp
:filter=/usr/libexec/filters/ifhp
:mx=0
using lpc "printcap test" shows that the ho= line is active, but I can still
send print jobs to this queue from anywhere. I have tried specifying the ip
address instead of the hostname with the same results. Does the ho line get
implemented on the client end, not by the printserver?
Thanks,
~ Bob
