I can answer my own question here. If I specify it in the printcap
like this:
lp:
:rp=lp:rm=host1:client
...then it works as I would expect, but this:
lp:
:lp=lp@host1:client
...doesn't work (I'd thought they were basically one and the same). I
have tried specifying force_localhost@ in the printcap entry, but this
makes no difference.
