Hello All, Is it possible to customize 'error messages' that users receive due to lpd.perms permissions? For example, I am allowing root@ a few hosts to control lpc for all printers. If I try to do something like 'lpc -Ppname flush' as root from a host that gets rejected, I get the following message:
Printer: printername@pserver printername@pserver: no It would be great if I could change that "no" to something more useful (even more so if I could use the lpd.perms keys in the message, i.e. REMOTEUSER at REMOTEHOST does not have permission to...). Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. ~ Bob ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST The address you post from MUST be your subscription address If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body.
