Well, I found out what caused this: lpd.perms --- # allow only support services staff to print to the office color and laser printers ACCEPT SERVICE=R SERVER PRINTER=cpnoff,ljnoff REMOTEGROUP=admin,system ACCEPT SERVICE=R SERVER PRINTER=cpnoff,ljnoff REMOTEUSER=root,culverjt REJECT SERVICE=R SERVER PRINTER=cpnoff,ljnoff
