Is this something you could easily give instructions on, or should we move back to 3.8.12 for now?

Thanks,
T.

Subject: jobs disappears from queue - LPRng-3.8.13/14/15

Hello Patrick,

since then i installed one of this three Packages (LPRng-3.8.13/14/15)
get
a strange effect; if i send a few jobs in a short time (one after the
other immediately) the system
only print the first and second job, the other jobs appears admittedly
in the queue, but only the first and second would be
marked as "active" and after printing this two all other jobs disappear
from the queue ... without
printing (and they never are marked as "active").

In the following case i tried to print 5 times the file trace.txt:

Printer: insp2@inssv1 'Laserjet 5simx'
Queue: 5 printable jobs
Server: pid 28303 active
Unspooler: pid 28304 active

I 've got only 271 and 272, the rest disappeared from the queue without
a track !
Here my /etc/printcap entry:

insp2
:send_data_first:
:force_localhost@
:perms_path=/etc/lpd.perms
:cm=Laserjet 5simx
:mc=20
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/insp2
:lp=172.22.68.80%9100:append_z=a4,duplex
:ifhp=model=hp5simx
:filter=/tools/misc/libexec/filters/ifhp
:af=/var/log/LPRnglog
:as=|/tools/misc/libexec/filters/accounting.pl start
:ae=|/tools/misc/libexec/filters/accounting.pl end
:sh:ff

The LPRng is installed on a Solaris-Box (SunOS inssv1 5.8
Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc)
With the same configuration with LPRng-3.8.12 it works fine.

Thank's a lot for help,
Reiner
