Hi!

I took your suggestion and removed the ps@ from ifhp.conf.

Now ifhp tries to reformat it to postscript:

sending job file at 14:56:40.935
starting transfer at 14:56:40.935
started converter '/usr/local/bin/a2ps' at 14:56:40.978
converter done, output 20653 bytes at 14:56:41.203
transferring 21 Kbytes at 14:56:41.204
49 percent done at 14:56:41.204
99 percent done at 14:56:41.260
100 percent done at 14:56:41.260
finished writing file, cleaning up at 14:56:41.261

So if I pretend the printer can do Postscript, it will reformat the file,
and the
printer barfs, and when I say it can't, it thinks the file is PS and refuses
to send
it. (I captured the intermediate file, and it is identical to the original
I've spooled).

Does anyone have another idea?

Thanks!

Christian

YOU MUST BE A LIST MEMBER IN ORDER TO POST TO THE LPRNG MAILING LIST
The address you post from MUST be your subscription address

If you need help, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or lprng-requests
or lprng-digest-requests) with the word 'help' in the body. For the impatient,
to subscribe to a list with name LIST, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
with: | example:
subscribe LIST <mailaddr> | subscribe lprng-digest [EMAIL PROTECTED]
unsubscribe LIST <mailaddr> | unsubscribe lprng [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If you have major problems, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word
LPRNGLIST in the SUBJECT line.
