Hi, I'm doing accounting mostly with HP LJ 8150. Printing doesn't seem to be much slower with accounting than without. I don't have to use the pagecount_poll stuff to make accounting work with this printer. Maybe you could try the recent patch for ifhp regarding HP 4100 accounting probs. Perhaps accounting will work without pagecount_poll for you then.
