My system was working with RH 7.3, and then I updated a bunch of modules
from redhat, and then my printer started failing with the JWRERR. Is this
similar to your experience?

If I copy a file directly to /dev/lp0, it prints correctly.

I started stepping through the code to find out why it fails, but have not
had much luck. Hopefully over the upcoming holidays I will have more time
to keep looking into it.

Regards,
James
