Hi all,
I'm not sure why is this is NOT working. When I sent a print job to a
local queue
which is forwarded to a queue on a remote machine, I get the message:
Your printer job
could not be printed
from my lprng print server which has a printcap entry like:
local_queue
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/%P
:sh:mx=0:mc=0
:lp=queue@remote_machine
Remote_machine is a unix machine running SunOS 4.1.4. My lprng server is
an
Ultra5 running Solaris 9 and lprng3.8.12. I've already added the lprng
server
on /etc/hosts.lpd on the SunOS machine.
Is there any other way of forwarding a queue to a remote machine?
Thanks for any help anybody can give.
