Hi Christoph,
Nah, doesn't work too.
here's a copy of the 'raw' queue for the Samsung printer, for example :
raw|lp3|ljet4-a4-raw|ljet a4 raw:\
:lp=/dev/usblp1:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/ljet4-a4-raw:\
:lf=/var/spool/lpd/ljet4-a4-raw/log:\
:af=/var/spool/lpd/ljet-a4-raw/acct:\
:if=/var/lib/apsfilter/bin/ljet4-a4-raw:\
:la@:mx#0:\
:translate_incoming_format=lf:\
:tr=:lf:
I've tested to delete the :tr= translator, but then I cannot print into
this queue (something related to apsfilter, I guess); also set :tr= to :cl:
and every character or combination I've found on the 'tr' manpage, but or it
cannot print, or print unreadable characters.
I've read all the info and docs for apsfilter, if, tr and printcap, but I
cannot avoid the final blank page.
Any idea?
BTW, I also tried ifhp but then but I cannot print fine with it, even with
this printer *claims* to be 100% Laserjet 4 compatible.
Ah!, in the windows client, I've configured the port to LPR (515) and LPR
Bytes accounting to 'enabled'. Someone in this list recommended it to me.
Any help will be welcomed.
regards
Alberto
