Are you just printing paper media, or are you doing transparencies and other media types as well? Haven't had real good luck with older HP color laserjets myself...their status reporting was a little flaky (Color LaserJet and Color LaserJet 4500). We just got a Phaser 6250 and Lanier LP020c here. Both produce fine output and their SNMP stack does reasonable things when trying to query for job status. Haven't tried doing PJL EOJ detection or PJL page accounting with either. The Phaser 6250 does better with handling transparencies--you can actually put them in a a paper tray, where the Lanier LP020c, or Ricoh CL3000 if you prefer, must take transparencies via the manual-feed/bypass tray. -- ============================================================================ John Perkins | University of Wisconsin-Madison Associate Researcher | Department of Computer Science [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 1210 W.
