As the subject line says, is there a command-line tool for LPRng like lpadmin (for System V printing) for creating print queues?
My goal is to create a script that reads a printcap file for Tru64 UNIX and creates a script to be run on another system that will create queues and printcap entries for LPRng. [It looks as though LPRngTool does all that work itself, and doesn't sit on top of a utility that does that sort of thing.]
To LPRng maintainers: do you have a tool like this for creating print queues in your test suites, to automate test queue creation? <comment id="Patrick"> ssl + perl OR: common/shared printcap file distributed via NFS or SMB mounting. <comment> -mark.
